The purpose of this project is to help our more than 1000 users and the entire community in London to have a digital identity and help their adaptation to the United Kingdom.
The Covid 19 pandemic forced many bureaucratic and daily life processes to be carried out digitally. Basic things in our current reality such as the covid passport, it is a digital certificate, making an appointment, receiving an email or messaging application. For many young people this is normal, but for 90% of LADPP users, this is more than just a language barrier to adapting to a normal life in the UK. 5% of our users have not a smartphone 50% only have WhatsApp as a social network 60% do not know how to send or read an email This is why we saw the need to help our community overcome this great digital divide. |
Digitalizate is the digital independence course through mobile for our entire community
The world is changing and after the pandemic many digitalization has accelerated. For this reason we have created a digitization course that focuses on teaching our users digital skills through their smartphone. From how to open email, map applications, messaging, doctors, calendars, we want the well-being of our community and digital skills will help you improve your day to day. In a small device such as a mobile we have a wide range of applications that can facilitate our daily life. This course was created based on the digital capabilities of hundreds of the users we have daily in our organization. Remember that LADPP helped more than 5000 people in 2021, Many of these users have a great difficulty with information technology, and only handle their phone, not a computer. |
