How We Help

LADPP is the only organisation in London devoted to serving disabled people whose first language is Spanish or Portuguese. Everyday we look to support this rapidly growing community with our team of professional advisors and volunteers; principally through the various events, classes and workshops we are able to organise. Whether it's through education, community integration or encouraging social inclusion - the ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life for our users.

Community Welfare & Housing Advice & Representation
Coordinated by Francisco Dimate with the support of Trust London helping the community with housing and homelessness prevention.
Our qualified advisors can work with you and your family to resolve issues inn welfare, housing & disability benefits, community and health care.

Coordinated by Jhon Marulanda and Damaris Hernandez and  with the support of our members and resources of the organization through memberships and donations,we offerd our professional service of Advice and Representation on Welfare and Disability Benefits, Housing and Tax Credit services approved ad a service by Advice Quality Standars

Community Volunteer and User Capacity Development for Economic Empowerment​
Coordinated by Daniel Lul with the support of Wakefield & Tetley Foundation, Award for All through the Eco-environmental Project leading by volunteers and staff of the organization with 68 active volunteers supporting the project through different services and activities.

Community Mental Health and Wellbeing
Coordinated by Monica Rowley with the help of Peter Minet Trust, London Catalist, Elephant & Castle Fund, Lamberth Commnunity Foundation. Also offering nurse session and befriending services through our "Befriending Body Project" and community integration activities with support and emotional direction and alternative therapies as well as expanding our services to the Portuguese speaking commnunity and with the support of the Refigee Health Team LSL-NHS services.

​Community Skills for Work and Welfare Project
Coordinated by Rachael Hobbs with the support of City Bridge Trust and Awards for All,Big Lottery Programme, City offering employment advice and welfare services.
This is for those who are looking for employment advice regarding problems in the workplace and also information on how to access training or education. We provide English language classes and workshops on diverse subjects, including; workers rights, CV writing and job seeking skills.

Last year LADPP’s Projects and Services reached around 6289 individuals.

All of our services are delivered through workshops, appointments and one-to-one sessions by our paid staff of 4 and 89 volunteers.

​We are committed to delivering our services in a fair and egalitarian way regardless of disability, age, gender, ethnic background, nationality or sexual orientation. 

Don't forget to keep up-to-date with all our Community Gatherings and Social and Cultural events that are held throughout the year. These bring all of our users, their carers, families and friends, and the local community together.
