Our Projects
The LADPP’s projects were created in order to
deal with and overcome the needs of the community. These services focus
on equal opportunities, confidentiality, empathy, with a non-judgmental
approach.
Please click on the headers below: Advice & Representation project: Dealing with welfare, housing & Disability benefits, casework and representations. Community Support Worker & Health project: Providing Community Integration Support work, befriending and therapeutic session, nursery, health and welfare Right workshops, one to one advice sessions, alternative therapies. Befriending project: Working towards empowering users that are housebound to overcome their needs and break isolation. For more information about the project please go to our Current programme page. User Development Project: Developing users’ skills and abilities through IT, English and vocational training. Aslo offering woskshops and activities aims to increase users potentialities and skils. We also offer a language interchange programme for those who want to improve their English, Spanisn and Portuguese language skills. For our current timetable please go to our Current programme page. Children and Families Project: We hold weekly workshops and classes for children and families, as well as regular activity days and trips to places of interest. LADPP Well-Beeing Project: We offer alternative therapies and social and cultural activities aims to improve users well-beeing and quality of life. Volunteer Opportunities: Offering volunteer opportunities to users and members of the community, expanding the networking with other volunteers organisation. We also offer Interpreting Services with a language and cultural approach helping people to overcome the language needs when meeting their needs. We also deliver Community Gatherings and Social and Cultural events so that our users, their carers’, families and friends may meet and share with each other, and the local community. LADPP also offer Fundraising Activities aims to gain financial resource to support our Projects for more information about this activities visit our Current programme Pages. All of our services are delivered through workshops, appointments and one to one sessions by our four paid staff and 50 volunteers.
