Our Services

Our team of staff and volunteers offers the following services:

  • Information, advice and advocacy on welfare benefits, housing, education, health, and social care
  • Interpreting services
  • Referrals
  • Volunteering and training opportunities
  • Cultural and social activities

Our advice work is given under the Community Legal Service Quality Mark standard. We are the only organisation providing these services to the local community under this standard, and have been doing so since 2001.

We have established partnerships with:

  • The Refugee Health Team Lambeth PCT-NHS, running monthly health workshops and a complementary therapy project every Friday since March 2004.
  • Shelter London, providing a housing surgery at LADPP to deal with special housing cases since November 2004.
  • Elephant Angels, providing training to our users in since July 2004.
  • The Migrant Resource Centre and Baytree Centre, running a training partnership.
  • Latin American Women’s Rights, providing counselling sessions by referral.
