For advice on how to access our Community Mental Health and Well being Project
please call 020 7793 8399 or email us at
wellbeing@ladpp.org.uk

Our vision is to promote a good state of wellbeing and mental health within the Spanish and Portuguese speaking communities living in London. We pay particular focus on the state of being healthy, feeling positive and connected, being safe and reducing social isolation. Our holistic approach enables individuals to build resilience and knowledge, in order to function in a civil society and meet the ordinary demands of everyday life.

We recognise that having access to quality healthcare is essential for everyone, so we offer free advice and guidance through our qualified advisers so you can access the community care and both physical and mental health services that are offered by the National Health Service (NHS). We also organise specific workshops to improve awareness of how to lead both a physically and mentally healthy life. The carefully planned sessions for 2019 include: Art Therapy group classes, Zumba and Alternative therapies to promote physical exercise and combat social isolation. Workshops on how to deal with long term conditions will also be available.

"I am very grateful to Ana and Kiara and the wellbeing Project. Thanks to the one to one sessions I am slowly resolving my personal life and learning about other organisations that can support me and my family. To have someone that speaks Portuguese with me and my children is very reassuring because due to my age and poor mental health I am unable to learn English."
