After deciding to come to London, my first impression upon arrival was pleasant. At this moment I found a beautiful city.
After a day, I felt strange and a little disorientated because the weather surprised me. I set out to explore the city and learn the transport system, which is quite pricey. Transport, accommodation and taxis cost a fortune.
Days passed and I started to work, soon realising that wages don't go far. Jobs here are tough and demanding but there's no alternative until you find a better job. With hard work and sacrifice you get used to it as I am finding.
I started to go out to get to know and work out the city better. I don't think it's been easy for me here but it has it's charms, such as the architecture of certain houses and buildings, which please me with their beauty. They are a good place to relax.
Sport is what has most impressed me. People show a lot of dedication in training and playing all types of sport.
Transport isn't great during rush hour.
In my view, people in London are quiet, educated and reasonably friendly in their own particular way, which I can understand.
I'm on my way. Some things I like, others I don't but there you go. I live in peace, I have work, I am studying, I enjoy myself and I'm working things out.
London is to me: Interesting but quite difficult.
I'm sure I'll carry on learning more about this country and the way of life.
